A few favorites are
1> My Porsche 930S Cabriolet 1989
2> My dream car Aston Martin Vanquish
3> If I were a passenger I would like my driver to drive me in a Maybach
4> Last but not least would be an Audi S8, if speeding tickets did not exist but legal speed being 100KPH or 64MPH here in Quebec,

Too bad they haven't released any S8's in the US. That car rocks! With our luck, they probably won't offer a manual transmission. Is the new bodied S8 available in Europe?

The closest we get to have the S8 is the A8 L W12 quattro with the nice 12 cylinders engine, but not the suspension and other joys of the S8

I understand that Audi is re-engineering their suspension and ssteering to add more precise responsiveness. I haven't seen any of the W12's yet. How is their performance compared to the V8's? Are there any other differences aside from the powerplant?

I haven't had the chance to try one yet, but there seems to be more standard parts that are options on other models as it sells for $170,000 CDN

From the Golden age

Anything from Auburn Cord or Duesenburg, Fiat race cars, pre WW2, Delehey(sp?)

1940-50s
almost anything from this era...this was an era without true Aerodynamics and crash tests...cars were designed only to look good. Almost anything was possible. Tucker, Gulwing Mercedes,

1960s
250 GTO, 64 Mustang, 63 Vett ZO6(the best ever from GM, JMO), anything Aston Martin

1970s- The 1970s as a whole, ummm.....well umm no more free love or fast cars(with the exception of a few 1970 + 71 cars) soooo at least the Films didnt suck

1980s- 959 Porsche, Countach(sp?) 288GTO, F40, Chevy Syclone, ZR1

Talk about being from two different planets...

What was your logic here on these choices? Which Skyline? I have a couple of friends who drive R33 and R34's every day.

Isn't thatthe Lincoln with suicide doors that Kennedy was killed in? Do you have any desire to drive that baby by the Houston Book Depository for nostalgisa sake? Just pulling your leg a bit. Don't mind me, I am a pretty blunt and sometimes abrasive guy... ask Mark C.

Thanks for your feedback.

:) It's true - Brad just tells it like it is. He knows what he's talking about though, so he has the right to do so!

What is a 964 variant? I've driven RS America's on track an dthey are great cars that were stripped down to the bare essentials. It would be hard for me to go back to manual roll up windows again.

Those air cooled Porsches were great and it took a real driver to handle them on a challenging road course... without all of the traction control and AWD bells & whistles.

I have to say that I just bought a 2001 Audi TT Quattro convertible with the 225 turbo engine and it totally rocks! The pickup is amazing!

That is one of the most forgiving performance cars on the road.

Have you seen the spy shots of the new TT? It looks longer and sleeker than the current models.

Is there a website to check out the new TT? I've been wondering when they would change the look of it.
