I'm not sure if this is unique to the automotive industry, but there's a never-ending supply of conferences. Companies are spending huge amounts of money to send their people to these conferences. I've heard complaints over and over about repetition every year.
What conferences do you go to, and do you think there are too many? Not enough? Too much repetition?
