Collision Repair Software from Combined Computer Technology is used for jobcosting and accounting in body shops. It's especially important for an autobody software system to track costs like parts and payroll and produce accurate financial statements. CCT and the CC3 product is currently doing just that in body shops all over the USA. Bodyshop software, or body shop software, needs to be both powerful, easy to use, and bridge in estimates from the estimating systems. Finally Collision software needs to be affordable.

I'm a shop owner and I have to admit this CC3 system is a great system to run a bodyshop with. It is the best jobcosting system with integrated accounting auto body management system available. And it's very affordable. What more could a shop owner want ? The very best software at a very affordable price.

I looked at the others, and couldn't believe how complicated they were and what they were charging for them. And to make it all worse, all the other systems export the accounting data into other systems like Quickbooks, which is totally confusing to transfering data from one system to another, is time consuming, and those accounting system don't think like body shop owners think. Collecting a receivable using a Claim # in Quickbooks is not possible.

The scanner in the CC3 auto body management software is totally cool because when you scan in the invoice, when you are posting the cost to the RO, it goes right through to the payables ledger and the journal in the accounting system. Everyone would want that from my parts guy to the bookeeping gal I've got. That way everyone can see and retreive the copies of the invoices with no effort and there is no need to copy the stupid thing and file it into a paper folder.

I originally found the system on the web when I was checking around. There was some good press on them.

It's that simple - buy this autobody management software - it'll make you money. It certainly makes me money every day.

Interesting, I found CC3 Auto Body Software on the web search engines as well. I own a body shop called Matson's Collision Center and I just wanted something that made the process fast and easy and let me keep track of my money. Stuff like parts tracking and credit memo parts returns are easy with CC3. Quickbooks ? Give me a break - that was such a waste of time. I kept working harder and harder to make it easier and easier and nothing was about the body shop business there in Quickbooks. Maybe if you do like 1 car a week that would work - I'm got way more business than that going now, I'm doing like 30 cars a month now.

Anyway, there was an article about CC3 that I read I think it was this one:

Just seems like these guys know what they are doing and don't charge some stupid amount of money for their software. I called the guy up on the phone one day, Stuart McColl, and he installed the software and did a demo for me in the first 15 minutes with him on the phone. Obviously knows what he's talking about. This is his little website here www.stuartmccoll.com

Not much more to say about that - If you want body shop software that is powerful and easy to use - go there and talk to him.
