I started out apprenticing in an Italian car shop to a gentleman that left the Alfa LeMans team to come to the US. When I moved to the west coast I worked in a VW-Porsche shop for a few years before opening my own Swedish car specialty shop. We wrote a computer program for that shop and closed the shop on 1985 to go into the software business full time. We belonged to the ETI (Equipment and Tool Institute) for several years before changing over to SEMA in 1993.

We are always interested in helping independent shops. Our internal slogan is "independents helping independents stay independent". Our web site is www.computerassistance.com
