GM's North American operations are being taken over by CEO and Chairman Rick Wagoner in an attempt to aide the struggling company.
This means Bob Lutz and Gary Cowger will be focusing instead on Global issues such as product development and manufacturing.
Wagoner was GMNA president from '94 - '98, and was CFO for 2 years before that.
