hey all god im glad i found this site its good to know that theres a place to go and chat regarding the biz.
anyway i have a couple of questions that maybe you can help me with.
Im looking to open my own shop here in nj and having a hard time finding a insurance carrier for my dealership anyone know of a couple of good places i can check. Second part to the first question is the DMV online says that the dealerplates are only 100$ to register but require that you have a 10k bond on your company does anyone know where i can find bond companies or do they mean 10k to them and them meaning dmv?
and last im looking for private investors that might be interested in lending money as im looking for more funds for more autos and other misc fee's for this place. I would be willing to give a interest rate back or be willing to have a % of my dealership as collaterol.
I have worked in the used car biz most of my life so i have a good feeling about it, plus the point that buyhere payhere's right now are going like hot cakes being that everyone's credit is shot. LOL atleast thats what i have read and seen from old friends at dealerships making money tell me.
