Hello to all users.
My name is Bruce Cassels and I'm looking forward to learning and exchanging ideas with you. I have been involved in the automotive retail industry for twenty five years and have worked in sales, service and management, including General Management. I have been working independently for the last twelve years in the training and consulting field, covering all aspects of dealer operations from recruiting to Five Star Implementation, sales training, service advisor training, leasing etc. I've worked with Dealers, Dealer Groups and the Factory.
Our company is currently exploring the development of a custom job board for the retail automotive industry that would include not only a job board, but custom resume searching and screening and selection assessments that would be benchmarked to the position and the dealership culture. We will launch in the next month or two, but first I would like some input from Dealers, General Managers, and anyone who does the hiring in a dealership.
My question is this:
If you could have a service such as this would the assessment component be useful to you?
How much would you be willing to pay for this fully automated hiring and selection system?
Would you prefer to seperate the job board and the assessments or have this as a single unit sale? ie: each unit includes job ad, unlimited resumes search on our board, custom offsite search, unlimited screening assessments and up to four benchmarked selection assessments for finalists.
Is there anything that is real problem for you in your hiring processes right now that you would like to see us address?
