Our bi-weekly Member Newsletter - Thoughts?

We currently try to send out our Member Newsletter every two weeks. However, we want to know what our members think. Should we send it less often? More often? Its purpose is to give all of the non-regular members an update of the recent conversations going on here. Any suggestions or recommendations?

where do I go to check my private messages?

This isn't the greatest place to ask that question, but since you need help with private messages, I guess that wasn't an option. :)

If you look at the top right corner of the forum, you'll see something in bold that says "Welcome, nmboydog." Two lines below that are the words "Private Messages" which is linked. Click on that to read your messages. To send a message, click on a user's name and there will be an option to send a private message.

is it okay if I put up an animated avatar on my profile?

As for the member newsletter, we haven't sent one out in quite a while. I was getting more negative feedback than positive feedback, which is part of the reason I started this poll.

As for the avatar - they're available only to our Premium Members, but yes you'd be able to have an animated one.
