Hello

I was wondering. If money isn't a concern. What would be the worlds best automotive program to get into. At the moment I am half way through my Mechanical Engineering degree, and want to know where to go so I can specialize in manufacturing/designing specialty performance vehicles.

[edit] Just to be clear. The job I am after is a automotive studio engineer.

Joe -

I'm far from an expert, but I believe one of the best all-around schools with a program geared toward the automotive business is Northwood University in Michigan. If you want to get into car design, I know Art Center in Pasadena has a program specifically for that. They even have an annual car show every year that is amazing.

Good luck!

thanks for the info.

I found out one of my teachers used to work for Ferrari. He advised me to join my universities Formula SAE team, and that lot of different car companies recruit at the races. Plus it adds a nice project to my resume.
