New Memeber Introduction

Hello all,

I am glad someone finally made an auto industry forum; I had been searching all over the web for something like this.

I am relatively young compared to the other members of the forum: I just graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Finance about three months ago. I spent my last year in school working in a small dealership in Austin, Texas. From there I went to a company called DrivenXchange (http://www.drivenxchange.com). DrivenXchange is in the process of integrating the remarketing channel from bank to dealer to consumer through the use of its electronic exchange and the internet.

I look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on the auto industry because it is a subject that occupies a lot of my time.

EJ - welcome to the forum!!!

I started it because I saw so many consumer-oriented forums, and just couldn't understand why there wasn't one solely devoted to industry professionals. Several other sites have forums as sub-features of their site, but nothing like this.

Thanks for the kind words. Also - congratulations on the recent graduation! I'm young myself - graduated from UCLA a few times over the last couple of years - the most recent being a year ago.

Please by all means contribute and ask as many questions as you'd like here. There are a LOT of experienced members who hopefully have answers!
