I have recently launched a website, www.carhaulnetwork.com which allows automobile shippers to post vehicles or RFQ’s directly on the site for automobile carriers to submit rates and ETA’s. Shippers may also search out carriers or empty trucks in an effort to utilize a back-haul opportunity to reduce costs. Car-Haul Network will also manage your shipping needs by posting your vehicles on your behalf and submitting a proposal within 24 hours. There is no charge to the shipper for this service. The site also offers many tools for the carriers such as load posting / sharing, recruiting, claims and safety bulletins and so on.
I have worked with many of the manufacturers and other large shippers and understand their requirements with respect to vehicle shipping and handling for both new and remarketing vehicles. I have many OEM qualified carriers that are a part of the network. Car-Haul Network is not a broker and there is no revenue generated from vehicle shipping. Rather we are a matching service for the shipper and carrier and rely solely on carrier membership dues. Again, there is never a charge for the shippers to use the service.
The purpose of this post is to not only inform you about the site, but to volunteer my personal services in the Gulf Coast region affected by the hurricane. I know there are thousands of vehicles that need to be shipped in and out of the area. We have a carrier database of about 600 carriers that we can call on to assist with this effort.
If there is anything I can do to help coordinate moving vehicles in or out of the Gulf Coast please let me know. Additionally, if any of the rental accounts need help coordinating moves, again I would be more than happy to volunteer my services in any way.
