So GM just sold vehicles to their next 2 yrs of car buyers to get themselves out of this troubled market . Who they going to sell to next year ?

although I agree with the idea that this merry-go-round will end somewhere..

0% shortens the trade cycle even for those with negative equity. the ride isn't over yet but...unless the domestics develop a consistent sales cycle that does not include hyper sales incentives, there will be an end to the game.

value pricing may be the way out for all the domestics...but, much like the farming crisis of the 80's, only well run companies would survive this type of shift. i've walked out of many stores wondering how they stayed in business this long..value pricing at the manufacturer level would probably put an end to those stores. not necessarily a bad thing for the car business but not necessarily a good thing for local economies/jobs.
