This is exactly what Chrysler needs. Unfortunately, he's not running the ship any more...:(
I was in a 3 hour meeting with Lee a couple of days ago and I have to say that he is a sharp as ever. There aren't many guys that have the impact that this man has had on the automotive industry like Lee. The industry needs more car people with a fire in their belly like Lee... and fewer bean counters.
His legacy is all over the car industry when you look at what guys like Bob Lutz, Paul Wilbur and Neil Hanneman are doing. I am sure there are countless other people who were mentored up through Lee's management team at Chrysler, who are having a big impact on the industry today.
The only surprise that I had about Lee doing this was the fact that the Germans from Daimler were the enemy for so many years. They took everything that Lee built at Chrysler and gutted it... thanks to Satan's handyman Bob Eaton.
Sorry for the mini-rant...

Rant on, Brad. That's what the forum is for. And I think you're 100% right on.
