Tim (sales@MPAutoPromos.com) here, Knoxville, TN. Wanted to introduce myself, let you know about what brings me here and why the title of this thread.
I had just heard another local dealer shouting prices. I wonder how much trust and respect he gets from buyers when they walk on the lot. I wonder how "slick" does on his closing ratio with that kind of respectability level.
We identified a need for humorous and memorable creative that still can involve the dealer but doesn't feed the stereotype. That's when we developed the concept for a dedicated channel of quality advertising for dealers and MPAutoPromos.com (http://www.MPAutoPromos.com) was born. Check us out, we're priced competitively and we provide turn key integrated marketing packages including on site signage, sales incentives and insured contests.
About me in short, I'm an advertising guy that was trained and groomed in the trenches at McCann Erickson NY. After experiencing the horror on 9/11 my wife & I decided to move to Tennessee to be closer to family and raise some critters. I worked on the Boston Whaler account here and then jumped ship (ha ha) to try my hand at working in sales, auto sales. I've been a car geek my whole life, especially BMW's so when I had the opportunity to get involved with the brand I jumped at the chance. I was very successful in sales there but the hours were too much on the family though so it was back to advertising (with 2 new 5 series BMWs).
