An Associated Press article (http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory?id=716515&CMP=OTC-RSSFeeds0312) discusses a collaboration between Microsoft's Bill Gates, and Ford's Bill Ford, Jr. to increase technology use in the automotive industry.
According to Bill Gates, he believes there eventually could be a car that wouldn't allow itself to crash.
Such technology as high-definition screens, speech recognition, digital calendars, etc is said to separate future manufacturers apart from their competitors.
What do you think the role of computer technology will be in the automotive industry in the next 5-10 years?
