Will my warranty be void on my 2004 Ford F-350 if I have Banks install there 6 gun PDA programmer? I think the air filter box & filter shouldn't be a problem! Also the 4" exhst. system should be a plus for this motor and not a warrenty problem. Does anyone have the answer? Thanks in advance for any and all advice. I see there are a number of unhappy owners with this motor from Ford!

Ford ( and all manuf ) have the right to refuse warranty claim if they believe the problem is caused by addition of unapproved add ons. That does not mean that every item on the vehicle is "voided", only those items involved with the add on. A chip can void the engine warranty, suspension changes can void the suspension warranty, etc. That does not mean they automatically will void it, but it is the manufacturers right, if you decide to re design their product, you take the risk. On the other hand, if you add a chip, that will not effect the warranty on you air conditioning, suspension, etc, only the effected parts, unless the vehicle can be shown to be abused ( racing, overload, etc ).
